What data we collect
Information you send us
When you use the contact form on the contact page or the form on the pricing page, we receive:
- your name;
- your email address;
- your phone number, if you choose to provide it (it is optional);
- the type of help you are asking for;
- whether you are contacting us as an individual, a self-employed professional or a business;
- your message;
- your preferred contact method (email or phone);
- the fact that you ticked the acknowledgement box on the form.
Information created when you use the website
- your choice about optional analytics, which is stored in your browser (see the Cookie Policy);
- if you accept analytics: usage data collected by Google Analytics, such as pages viewed, visits, country or region, device and browser type, and the page you arrived from;
- technical information processed by the hosting service, such as IP address, time of request and the page requested, used to deliver the site securely.
We do not intentionally collect special categories of personal data through this website, and we never ask for passwords, PINs or authentication codes.
Purposes & Legal Bases
Why we use your data
Responding to your enquiry
We use the details you send to answer you, assess what help you need and agree the next step. The legal basis is the steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries about our services.
Providing the work you ask for
If you decide to go ahead, your details are used to deliver and administer the work you have asked for. The legal basis is the performance of a contract with you, together with our legal obligations — for example, keeping records for tax and accounting purposes where a job is invoiced.
Optional analytics
Analytics are disabled until you actively accept them. If you accept, we use Google Analytics to understand how the website is used so that its content and structure can be improved. The legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time — see the Cookie Policy.
Security and abuse prevention
The contact form includes a hidden anti-spam field and requests are size-limited, and the hosting service keeps short-lived technical logs. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in keeping the website secure and free from misuse.
Legal obligations
Where applicable, we process and retain data where we are legally required to do so, such as records connected with invoicing for services you purchase.
We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not sell or rent personal data.
Contact forms and communications
Form submissions are sent to an endpoint on this website, which delivers the enquiry by email to our own mailbox. Your details are used only to read and answer your enquiry. If you tell us you prefer to be contacted by phone, we will call you instead of emailing.
Sending an enquiry does not subscribe you to anything. We do not operate a newsletter and we do not send marketing messages; the only messages you receive are replies to your enquiry.
Before You Become a Customer
Service enquiries
Submitting an enquiry is a request for information: it does not create a contract and does not oblige you to buy anything. If you decide to proceed, the scope, the approach and the price are agreed with you separately before work begins, as described in the Terms & Conditions.
If you do become a customer, we keep the correspondence needed to deliver the work, to agree changes with you and to meet our legal obligations.
How long we keep your data
We keep personal data only for as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected for:
- enquiry correspondence: for as long as needed to handle the enquiry and any reasonable follow-up, and then deleted or anonymised once it is no longer needed;
- records connected with work you purchase: for the periods required by applicable tax and commercial law;
- analytics data: according to the retention settings of our Google Analytics account, which never exceed 14 months in Google Analytics 4;
- your analytics consent choice: stored in your browser until you clear your site data or change your choice.
Where no specific period applies, data is kept only for as long as the purpose requires and is then deleted or anonymised.
Processors
Who receives your data
Your personal data is shared only with the parties that need it:
- Google — Google Analytics, and only if you have accepted analytics. The provider is Google, whose processing is described in Google’s own terms and policies;
- our hosting and email infrastructure, which delivers the website and the emails that carry your enquiry, processed on our instructions and under the provider’s terms;
- nobody else. There are no advertising networks, no social media plugins, no embedded third-party widgets and no data brokers involved in this website.
Anyone who processes data for us is limited to using it for the purposes described in this policy and is required to handle it appropriately. We do not sell or rent personal data.
International transfers
Google’s services may involve processing personal data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where a transfer of this kind takes place, it relies on the safeguards provided by the provider — such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses or a recognised adequacy decision.
Other than the processing described above, no routine transfer of your personal data outside the European Economic Area takes place.
Your Rights
Your rights
Under data protection law you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- have inaccurate data corrected and incomplete data completed;
- have your data erased where there is no longer a reason to keep it;
- ask us to restrict the processing of your data;
- object to processing based on legitimate interests;
- receive your data in a portable, commonly used format;
- withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before you withdrew it;
- lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority — in Spain, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD).
How to exercise your rights
Email contacto@informaticacancelada.com or call +34 617 171 582, saying which right you want to exercise. We may ask you for information needed to confirm your identity before responding. We answer without undue delay and within one month of receiving your request.
How we protect your data
- the website is served over encrypted connections (HTTPS), so data sent to and from it is encrypted in transit;
- form submissions reach our own endpoint, with request size limits and an anti-spam check, before being delivered to our mailbox;
- access to the mailbox and to the website’s technical accounts is limited to Mihai Dobre;
- we collect only the data needed to answer you and to do the work you ask for;
- we never ask for passwords, PINs or authentication codes, and we ask visitors not to send them.
No method of storing or transmitting data is completely secure. We take measures that are proportionate to the data involved and to the risks, and we review them as the website changes.
